Online Journal Policy
IPAP is offering a new subscription policy to all readers, individuals (society members and non-society members) and institutions subscribing to IPAP Online journals. A summary of the changes is as follows.
- A free full-text view is offered to readers for 90 days from the publication date for two journal titles, Journal of the Physical Society of Japan (JPSJ) and Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (JJAP). Registration as a free trial user is required. [See item 3 for details.]
- After 90 days of the publication date, a subscription is required for full-text view. [See item 1 or 2 for subscription details.]
- The new policies above do not apply to the journal, Progress of Theoretical Physics.
1. Institutional Users
- A set subscription including print and online editions. (Online-only subscription is not available.) All the archives since Vol. 1 are available to instututional users.
- Annual subscription prices
- Registration for online edition should be made at our Web site. Institutional domain and its IP address are essential.
2. Member Subscriber (Society Members)
- All the archives since Vol. 1 are available to member subscribers.
- Applicant should be a member of the Physical Society of Japan (JPS), the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) or their cooperative societies. The cooperative members of JPS should apply to the JPS office via e-mail <pubpub@jps.or.jp>, and those of JSAP should apply to the JSAP office via e-mail <membership@jsap.or.jp>.

- Please contact IPAP to make registration as a Member Subscriber via e-mail <online-support@ipap.jp>.
3. Free Trial User Registration
- A free full-text view is offered to trial readers for 90 days from the publication date of each journal title, JPSJ and JJAP. To view an issue that was published more than 90 days prior, a journal subscription is necessary.
- Registration as a free trial user is required.
4. Single Article Purchase
- Prices: JPSJ 2,000 yen, APEX 2,000 yen, JJAP 2,000 yen
- Payment can be made by credit card.
