• Proof Reading (incl. Note Added in Proof)

  A galley proof is provided in PDF form at the URL which is identical each articles. When authors receive an e-mail notification, please print out the pdf and return them to the editorial office in the following ways.

  All corrections for main body, tables and figures should be clearly indicated in the proofs. Also a list of corrections on a separate sheet is appreciated.
  What do authors need to return to the editorial office are;
  (1) the corrected proofs,
  (2) the list of corrections, and
  (3) the reprint order form
  within 72 hours by fax (+81-3-5844-3290) to the editorial office.
  
  [Note 1] The following case in authors proof check will be charged.
  (1) Additional revisions from the original manuscript in the proof (incl. 'Note Added in Proof')
  (2) Replacement of figures or photographs, except of a case of production quality or error
  (3) Cancellation of color printing
  [Note 2] Page limitation on Communications (3 printed pages).
  In the case of number of printed pages of those articles are more than a limitation page, Editorial Board ask authors to shorten proofs by scaling down the figures or reducing the text. Authors are requested to indicate how to shortening the length of articles on the proofs, as well as any other corrections. If corrections are extensive enough to require a new review by the editor, publication of the paper may be delayed.
  
  Note added in proof ---- Authors may add information or comment that authors obtain since the paper acceptance. The paragraph will added at the end of the paper.

• Reference Check

  In order to avoid the dead link from IPAP Online Journals to the journals listed here (PDF), IPAP checks the following information in the articles reference list.
  (1) authors' names
  (2) journal names
  (3) volume number
  (4) publication year
  (5) initial page
  Authors are expected to check the information marked 'NG' and make corrections in the proofs.
  

• Quality and Resolution Check for Figures and Photographs

  Figures are published as same quality as PDF proofs. If the photographs or color figures are of insufficient quality, authors must indicate in the proofs how they should be improved. If revisions or replacement of figures is required, authors are requested to send the revised figures, as well as their electronic files if available. [See the resolution information]

• Reprint Order

  The publication charge entitles authors to receive the minimum of 100 (50*) without cover. Please fill in the form and return it to the editorial office even if you do not want to order additional reprints. The publication charge is available below.
